Why Junk Removal?

​​Prior to this business I was doing kitchen and bath renovations. I found myself constantly being let down by sub-contractors. No matter how much I paid, no matter how much I managed, there were always issues. At the point where I was working 12-15 hour days, 7 days a week, I had to make a different route. For my family, my health and my sanity.
Junk removal provided a simpler, business model that didn't rely on specialized labor. 
I am still building and there are long days but the level of stress has been significantly reduced. And weirdly....

Background

​I am originally from Texas, so you will always get a little southern charm when you deal with me. I studied Industrial Engineering in undergrad and was recruited by Nabisco in Fair Lawn, NJ out of college. I worked for Nabsico/Kraft for several years until I decided that I would pursue a career change to the business side.
I completed 2 degrees at Rutgers with a MBA in Supply Chain Management and Finance. After grad school I joined JP Morgan as a Corporate Finance hire. 
All along I dabbled in construction. I have owned and renovated over 15 properties in Northern NJ.
